Thinking about dumping my Xfinty/Comcast cable. If I may ask. What are some you using for TV service? What is your cost per month?

It's import for me to still be able to watch local news, Bulls, Bears & White Sox. NHRA, Formula 1, Indy Car & NASCAR.

We dumped Xfinity last year and went with YouTube Tv. Just waiting now for a competitor to have a 1gig internet plan and I will completely be rid of Xfinity!!!

YouTube TV. Built in DVR so you never miss any NHRA action! Been using it for several years and have been very happy with it.

I have T-mobile internet and Hypertv. $50 per month for the internet and $100 per year for hypertv for 2 tv's. You can watch anything in the world with this service. Have something blackouted in your area you can still watch it. No DVR but I just go to a APP and watch the replay.

Tony, you can watch any sporting event thats on tv with this service

Youtube tv is great. Allows you to access live and recorded programs on your computer or phone when travelling. Also unlimited recording storage.

With IndyCar going to Fox, That really is my only need for cable now. I have AT&T for close to 50 yrs and am paying 59 Small, including Cubs Baseball which is on the second tier of profit.
Make your best deal, don't take no for an answer, might require help from customer solutions, but they will never let a "golden goose" type customer leave.
Also 40 Small for high speed internet, locked in @ a "grandfather" basis, had one minor issue in 25 yrs, never an outage or 4K buffering issues

Mike, can you expand on what APP is?

I use YouTube TV, so I get FS1 and FS2. It's on a Samsung Smart TV which has free programming that includes the NHRA channel.

To your second point, I don't know how the Chicago stick and ball teams are broadcast but I miss out on all of the local Red Sox games because those are broadcast on NESN which is not available on YouTube TV. So if that's important just make sure whatever streaming service you get carries the games/teams you're interested in.
