What barriers will be broke in '15...

Any ideas who will be the first to break the 3.60s in TF? I want it to be Al Anabi, but give how the performance gap has closed, it could be any one of at least four teams.
Hmmm... like you said, could be anyone of about 4 teams to be 1st, but my money says one of Connie's cars will have the record at the end of the day. :D

still wondering exactly which FC (or FC's) prock will tune.....whichever one/s they are will put up big numbers.....3.95 by end of 2015.
hope aaron brooks and richie crampton stay together with lucas oil racing......if they do they'll put up a 3.68 @ pomona.
the speeds and et's being achieved in 1000' worry me....afraid one of these bombs will go off and something will happen causing
nhra, drivers and owners to reevaluate what they are doing.

Sounds like if you like pro stock you should attend as many races in 2015 as you can because it might not be around in 2016. Not much fan appeal plus not many cars doesn't equal longivity of the class.

Doesn't look like NHRA wants to put the time in to help it. Hell if they would make one step and add EFI to the engine development it would fill the void and renew some interest in the class.

I'm afraid they need to do much more than that to attract enough fan support to maintain the class.[/QUOTE
It's a start and there is plenty more but doing nothing is not the answer. Of course if you don't like the class and would rather put something else in its place then that's what you do, nothing. If my memory is correct this was the most exciting class in the countdown and finals.

Jesse, I don't disagree with what you say but have you ever noticed what happens when PS runs? The stands empty. Just saying it will be a long hard pull to get the fans back.

I really hadn't been to many national events until Heartland Park in the late eighties. I know Pro Stock was like that even back then. NHRA has a lot of work to do getting there racing series back to the entertainment value it was in the 70s when its claiming rights to being the no 1 sport in auto racing was theres.

In my opinion EFI does nothing to help the popularity of PS. What would it change really? And truthfully, the stands empty for pretty much everything but fuel cars, which I don't get. I know we all have favorite classes, but how do you not watch, at the very least, the alky classes? They put on an amazing show, and are just flying. Nonetheless PS needs help, and it's more about a total re-boot than simply adding EFI, IMO.

If you're refering to my post I said that was one thing of many that needed to be done. The thing about EFI is the younger crowd can only relate to they don't know anything about carburetors and just ask engine builders the EFI engines are more efficient and more efficient means less breakage and less cost to run overall.
