Westbound on IH-10

My wife and I had just pulled onto IH-10 near Lafayette, Louisiana on Tuesday afternoon and this this beauty came flying up in the rear view mirror!

I seem to see quite a few of them out here in Arizona... Some oldies, but a couple of modern crewcabs with a ramp bed like the good ol days...

How cool is that? To this day, I remember my first drag race, seeing the Snake and Mongoose in their Hot Wheels cars in the early 70's and the ramp trucks they drove in to Minnesota Dragways.

Hodges Haulers in Kentucky will build you a new one. I sold one of their crew cab haulers a couple of years ago, and they build a nice rig.
