Looks the the Kawasakis are getting a weight break

Replace "Kawasaki (101 cid, 4 valve) – 615 pounds" with "Kawasaki (101 cid, 4 valve) – 575 pounds"

Pardon my ignorance but, does anyone even run a Kaw? All i ever hear about are Harleys, Buells and Suzukis.

John, there have been attempts with the Kawasaki in the past, and I believe one won at maybe Denver a few years ago, but it's a tough row to hoe for the Kaw pilots with limited factory involvement. Kawasaki has chosen to put their R & D efforts in motocross and the crotch rocket series. As a long time Kawasaki fan, I'd like to see something besides Suzukis and Harleys out there also. Maybe the weight break will help out. Now if NHRA would just let the inline 4s have the same displacement as the V Twins, I do believe you'd see an end to the V Twin dominance in a hurry. Matt Smith, if you happen to be on the board today, feel free to chew on me for that statement, but I would be very interested in hearing some inside info on why Kawasaki has been so unsuccessful in PSB. Any info would be appreciated!
