I heard Warren is going to get Jason to tutor him on the lights!!!1
Give Warren more time in the shop, I don't think the competition would want that.Perhaps he should let Justin Humphries Drive that GM Performance car....and spend more time in the SHOP... Let KJ and Justin drive the cars...That would be a good two car team!

I sure hope nobody from the outside starts telling me when I should stop enjoying what I love. Despite the results lately, I'd have to say he's still choosing to wheel the car himself for some reason. Maybe it's because it's his life's work and he's really enjoying outrunning everybody else? The rest of this year he'll have the luxury of testing and blocking when applicable and that seems good enough for WJ.
It's only my opinion but, shouldn't it be his choice to decide when to move out of the seat? Until then, it seems as if speculation will continue to fly from those who know little or nothing of his world. Worst of all, it's the same guy with new threads about what's wrong with WJ.
Must be an empty life?

I gave up trying to explain it's WJ's choice when and if he gets out of the car. WJ owns the entire operation, including KJ's deal and he's going to do it his way, like it or not. I think of it this way,he's thinking he can still get it done and no reason to quit now. I wouldn't like anything better than him getting it worked out and kick some butt. As far as JJ getting the ride,I would be very surprised if he gets it next year because I think WJ will be back behind the wheel.
I definitely understand and tend to agree with both of you guys on this, but I guess it's just frustrating to watch one of the baddest cars in the class, if not the baddest get hammered early every week.
All of us that drive will also arrive at a day when our skills behind the wheel will diminish. That being said, I'm sure none of us will want to hear anything about putting someone else behind the wheel. But this is the professional level, and with all the corporate involvement, I guess I'm surprised that there hasn't been any pressure from the source of the money to slide a hotter shoe in there. But on the other hand, WJ has more than paid his dues to do whatever he wants, that's for sure, and maybe the suits at GM are satisfied with that. I'm just saying I'm surprised.

His RT are not what they need to be,he even says that. This is what puzzles me,evidently he's hitting the shift points, that's a reaction,he still gets A to B very well, that's a reaction. You're correct,it's hard seeing a very good car go out first round and not going rounds. I talked to him @ Charlotte, not about his RT but being in a slump and we both agreed that you just have to work your way out of it. I look @ it this way comparing racing to life,I've had times where no matter what I did,I couldn't make lemonade out of lemons. Then, all of a sudden for no reason,I could take chicken crap and make chicken salad out of it. I can't explain it but we have all experienced it and hopefully the chicken salad will come soon for WJ.

I hear what you're saying, Mike, but as far as his shift points are concerned, all that proves is that he's consistent, not necessarily quick. As long as he's consistent in his reactions to the shift lite/tachometer, he/they can set the shift lite to come on around that, or the number he may be looking at on the tach, whichever may be the case.

You are right Sean but I would bet that W.J. don't need no stinking shift light.
They're going to like it even less when someone else is wheeling that car..........
