Vote4Hagan in the Traxxas Shootout

I love Matt Hagan. He brings a lot to our sport. Especially with the younger and the female set. The young man is a stud driver and a first-rate personality.

But what a horribly clumsy attempt that video was. Bad writing, bad direction, bad production ... and yes, unfortunately, bad acting.

Great ideas poorly executed still never rise above being bad ideas. I truly found myself cringing.

They've could've done this so much better. Heck ... I could've done it better.

Chris,

Not to get all remedial on you, but if you read my post, the answer to your question is contained therein.

Nothing more chagrining than to see one of our heroes treated like a meat puppet. Especially when the premise was sound.

The success of everything in this world, my friend, every-dang-last-thing, is predicated upon execution. Not intent. History is littered with good intentions.

And don't get me wrong, I'd give my eye teeth to talk with Matty for a half hour. I really, really like that kid. My issue is this: he deserved better.

Just to keep it in perspective, it's just voting to get into a drag racing shootout that 99% of the country doesn't even know anything about, so I think we can grant him a little leeway. I've spent *maybe* a sum total of 60 seconds talking with him; but, I don't see the person in the video as being that far out of character for him. It suppose it could have been "worse", just imagine if it were Jack in the video, now that would have been a hoot.

Some of the funniest Chit I've seen in ages. Just what they were aiming for...
and it beats 95% of the political ads I've seen on TV in the last fifty years.
