VIDEO: Bartone Bros. Racing

Les, one of your best.
was watching ama supercross last sunday morning on cbs and realized their whole show was
(2) 30 minute segments on two of the series's stars.
a video such as this IMO should have a place somewhere in the realm of televised drag racing.
very entertaining showing a team/family perspective of a race weekend.

Thanks Mike. I caught some of CBS coverage this past summer of Supercross…I'm glad they are into motorsports again…always a good production since the Daytona 500 days. This was my first attempt at doing a video like this…the next one will be better.

Les, i really liked this video as a lifelong drag racing fan who is very familiar with the bartones / new england raceway /
the nostalgia scene.....i.e. i get what's going on in every facet of this video. very nice to see the human interaction in
the pits, in staging lanes, and on top end; more than just showing what car wins, the personalities bring the
video story to life.

so, what if i'm not a hardcore fan.......IMO this video still works; you do a nice job of introducing the family, the raceway,
and the event; i can't imagine anyone with a small interest in motors/high performance/racing not enjoying this
short story......again, well done and most enjoyable.

Right on…you get it. If there is a goal here is to put the cars and the sport of Drag Racing "over" (as they say in pro wrestling)…which is unlike some of the documentaries & reality TV shows have in the last few years. I didn't get into the sport cause of the people driving and their personalities…I got into it because Top Fuel Dragsters and Funny Cars cars were amazing.

Also, ask Tony, out of all the types of cars he's driven (which includes road racing), which is the hairiest to drive…Nostalgia Top Fuel. Unlike these 10.5 tire guys with computer controlled suspensions & traction control (plus they only run 1/4 mile a couple of times a year)…These drivers are touching 270 mph on those little 12inch tires. Unfortunately, I'm in a very small minority, but this is my favorite class in drag racing.
