Vegas 4Wides in April

Me and 3 buddies are going to the Vegas 4 wides in April. Does anyone know what the "platinum" tickets are all about? Is it like TEC or in between that and GA? I found info on 'Platinum' for Nascar but not NHRA. Please just straight answers and no negative **** about four wide. Thanks in advance for any helpful info.

I believe the platinum seats are high in the grandstand just below the suites. Great view of the track from up high if you like that as opposed to being lower and closer to the track. They are covered - blocks the sun but sometimes its a little chilly and windy at this track (especially earlier and later in the day) so you may want sun. You can also ride the elevator up to them so you don't have to walk up the grandstand to your seats.

So tempting but ok, on topic: No experience with Platinum but always sit on the starting line, reserved seats about 10 rows up. Spitting distance from the cars so never had any thoughts about TEC etc.

I bought the platinum tickets for the November race and it's the reserved seats just under the luxury suites, there's an elevator that takes up you. It comes with club nitro passes, which I thought was awesome. Fully catered lunch with some of the best food I have ever had at a sporting event, unlimited drinks (soda, water, soda, ice tea) and select beer, seltzer drinks, and wine. You also have access to covered seating to eat and get into the shade and they have a special seating section that allows you to walk up to the burnout box. that allows you to watch the races from there. They also have a viewing area in that section that allows you to watch from 2 levels on a trailer. My wife is on the edge about drag racing, she had such a good time that she wanted to renew the tickets which we did when we were there. For her, it was all about the experience and she enjoyed it.

Paul, I believe you are talking about higher premium tickets than Platinum.
For example, the track website shows Platinum tickets for Sunday at the April race to be $87. You can't get all that you described for $87.

Yeah, I had to pay for all 3 days. It was like $500 per person it was a platinum package that included more than just the seats. I just assumed everyone had to buy into the same thing, it was well worth the $.

I appreciate the information and thoughts you guys. You had me at elevator. With some recent heath issues, stairs make it rough. Me and another guy have been to several races all over. One guy has been to a few NHRA events. But there's one that's a nitro virgin. No matter what, watching the new guy is gonna be fun. Again, thanks for the feedback!

The seats are covered and out of the sun And have great view points. I also believe they come with nitro club access which has food and refreshments along with a starting line viewing area. I'd say they're worth it
