This sounds like one hell of a pair. I know Bob was sick of perfecting the 3.92 tuneup, nor was that gonna win any rounds. Now he added Rob Flynn who did fine wetting his feet last week and I expect mid 80's now. Keith Stewart alone would be enough. He did a great job with Bruce Sarver and he did well with his Herbert stint. Thanks Bobby.
When you wanna make something happen as bad as Bob does you have to see his reasons. 0-13? I'm sure he's fed up, he also knows that he would only win this year with Dupey if he got lucky, for anyone to win who is not a member of DSR or AJR it is gonna take a team that can at least run low 3.80's when the weather is good to even have a fighting chance.
Brandon Bernstein in my opinion is the best bet for a championship when you get away from the solid 5. It is amazing that top fuel has 5 teams that can win any race any time, but it's not amazing that the same 5 is all you ever see win.
grubby beat out mcmillen for the top ten last year.
clay beat out hartley the year before that.
this year it's a 3 horse race; 35 pts from 10th to bob in 12th;
time to make a change to quantify the full tour investment.
