I don't have an exact quote, but he said something to the effect that since he has a wonderful wife and family in the scheme of things it really doesn't matter if he wins or loses a damn race.

i was really, really rooting for BV to get his first win. there's no one at that that track who deserves a win more than him. of course Vandergriff really lost the final when he didnt get lane choice in the semis
