I was thinking about going to the 'Unleashed' deal at Gainesville next month. Has anyone been to any of hte others? Was it worth it?

Not sure if you went to this thing Bob...I did and will not go again. I am not a fan of 1/8 mile racing. I don't like watching cars shut off at half-track. I will say that for what it was, it was OK at best. I should have went to the World Street race at Orlando where they had sub 7-second/200MPH cars running the full 1320.

Orlando's always great. I ended up going to Bradenton for the Nostalga Muscle Car race... Shorter drive. It was 1/4 mile and some nice cars, but not many of them. I'm hoping that there is a bigger turnout for the 5 day series at Bradenton. Might try again...

?? They run NHRA Unleashed over the 1/8th mile at Gainesville?

They run the weekend bracket deal for only the 1/8th mile at G-ville.Have NO idea why,it's got a long shutdown area.I hate 1/8th mile racing.

If memory serves, anything quicker than what would amount to an 8 second car in the 1/4, runs the 1/8 mile. The drag radial cars, 10.5 cars and Pro Mods definitely ran half track.
