really like the attractive gal in nhra shirt @ top end for winners.
suggestion: let her hand off the actual trophy and smile for tv camera.
someone else please put a bottle of mello yello in winner's hand, not the
trophy girl......and maybe put a mello yello shirt on the trophy girl.

Here we go again, little brother NHRA trying to steal something from cool big brother NASCAR. The only problem is NASCAR isn't even close to being cool and their hovering Sprint girl in the jumpsuit is VERY CREEPY.

Are we to believe NHRA could not come up with a trophy female with 1/100 the carisma of the awesome Linda Vaughn. Adding to the creepy factor of the whole deal was Courtney's embarrassment with having to deal with a female trophy girl. How come Courtney doesn't get a trophy guy. Surely someone in the crowd would have volunteered for that duty.

She did. During driver introductions, Reinhart had the girl trade places with a the nearest warm bodied male, a mello yello worker. It was hilarious.

The one thing I take away from that video in the Antron segment is the "WOOOOOHOOOOOO" you clearly hear on all the replays from someone near the ESPN mic. I noticed that on the broadcast too.

I dunno, but people in the stands at Pomona did NOT like this new girl. She's terribly annoying. Could just be the way the production staff cut her clips. Also, she doesn't have a good voice at all.

I liked Alex Baca a lot. I hope she comes back. If not her, then Jessica Barton.

Mark, what makes you think that Courtney was embarrassed? I was there when she was celebrating and I have also watched the topend interview on tv, and all I have seen was a very, very, very happy and excited Funny Car Driver. I'm just trying to figure out what you seen that I must have missed.

What short Memories People have, anyone here remember the Queen of Trophy Girls Miss Winston Deb Brittsan? She is 2nd only to Linda Linda Vaughn as a true Promoter of Motorsports. Have had the Pleasure of Working with Both of them at Trade Shows back when I worked at Goodies Speed shop their Knowledge and love of Racing was incredible to experience. And they are not hard on the eyes either.
