I jumped onto ALPHATRADE.com to check out Bernstein's latest sponsor and was surprised to see a Top Fuel Dragster (not Bernstein's) on their homepage.

Here is the multi part trivia question:

1. Whose car is this?
2. Where is the photo taken?
3. Who owned this car before the current owner?
4. Who owned this car in the USA?

The Prize: Self Gratification and a couple of Victorian Drag Racers Club decals from Australia

First post to contain the 4 correct answers wins the prize!

Awe, come one Junior let me answer, let me answer!!!

Can I at least hint?

PR Jr., I tried it just now, and all I see are Bernstein's.

But.......... just for fun I'll take a shot without seeing the picture.
1. Romeo
2. Heathcote
3. Jim Read (for a few minutes)(it seemed)
4. Jack Clark (it disappeared overnight)

14 and counting, downunder.

We have a winner!

The car was one of Clark's Taco Bell cars, built by Brad Hadman and raced briefly in Oz by Jim Read. Read reverted to his older Uyehara car which he ultimately recorded the first 300mph run in Australia. Capitanio bought the car and did win the Australian Nationals with it ... the car is still around, although Romeo has done little, if any racing in the past five/six years.

Hope you're well Bob!

Good Job Bob, although you could probably apply for ustralian citizenship with the time you have spent down under!! :D

For a bonus point, which Australian chassis builder made repairs to the chassis after Romeo had a "backing up" incident (ala Hillary Will this year) but he actually hit the wall.

I will throw the stickers in the mail in the next few days!

Is 1445 Pioneer Way, El Cajon, CA 92020 correct?

Cheers,

Paul
