Jim Yates was injured after he was hit by the Safety Safari truck running over to help Bruce. The guys in the truck didn't see Jim in the smoke.

A couple of things stuck out at me when I went to look at the results.
First, apparently, that was Dave Connoly's debut weekend.
Second, there were 37 entries in pro stock, 21 in F/C, and 19 in T/F, with many names you don't see out on the tour anymore.

We prefer using a very attractive mid-20s young lady--that way if the snipe doesn't show, the trip isn't a total waste. However, as I get up in my years, I seem to have much more difficulty acquiring said bait, so, yes, Capt. Morgan is the bait of choice--and again, if the snipe doesn't show, with the Captain along you can still have a good time! Of course, firearms of any kind are verboten on a trip like this!
