I'll be making my first trip to Heartland Park. Anybody else going?

Since I'll be there, you best bring an umbrella. A dark rain cloud can't be too far away when I'm around a dragstrip.

I'm about 100 miles from St Louis heading that direction. If I hadn't took a detour after the Atlanta race and went through Indy to watch the Indy 500 practice then I would already be there.

Tunnels would be great. If you get VIP parking, you get to park right behind the staging lanes. Right now the weather guessers are calling for 86 and sunny on Friday.

It's awesome to see cars runnin' the Brickyard isn't it? One of the things I miss about living in Kentucky was the trip to the Brickyard every May.

I always love the Brickyard. It was nice of Lee Beard to offer me a place to park our hauler at their shop, and also Sterling one of Cruzers crew guys loaned us a car for the weekend. We had a great time, but now we are Topeka bound.

Been to Topeka a few times, always had fun there. You do get a work out though.

The night Amato ran the first 4.5, and Force ran the first 4.8 was one awesome time.

Was there the year Hillary Will got her win in T/F. Stayed at the Capitol Plaza and spent Sat night in the hotel bar with Connie, Scott (a couple weeks before he passed), Johnny West etc etc. Pats Pig has some pretty good BBQ.
