You see, Japan doesn't have all these ambulance-chasing lawyers mucking things up like here in the USA where there's no such thing as an accident and somebody is always responsible. As Rick Farcas pointed out, those folks were well-protected behind those ropes.
most countries aren't as litigious as the good 'ole USofA...
Go skiing here, right past the signs that say out of bounds, no skiing allowed, and hurt yourself, you can still sue and possibly win a lawsuit here....do it in the Alps, French, German, Swiss, no matter....you'll be lucky if they come look for you, let alone winning a lawsuit. Stupidity is rewarded here.
Nothing - other than flooding it...
Most people use gasoline - alcohol can be difficult if the air temperature is below 55 degrees...
I prefer to "dry" start it, that way it won't flood...
I thought it was a good burnout myself. Keep it straight and good smoke. Crazy as it may be, I think it's cool.
In the first video, what I saw was he didn't go too far and didn't build too much speed and under control on a flat surface. What Chritchley (sp) was a burnout that way too fast on a city street that may have been uneven or bumps that would disrupt the 4-link.
On the other hand, I wouldn't be part of this show.
BTW, we start our alcohol motor with gasoline. A cold engine is can be difficult to start and wears on your battery and starter Many use alcohol to start and lean out engine before shutting it off.
