I meant to start this thread the other day and forgot, but how about Tom Conway. He won TAD in Norwalk. It was like he never left. I know he's been tuning cars for years but still to just get in and win was awesome to see.

I was watching round by round..I thought wow be cool if them two get to race ecah other....great racing....

I might be off on the exact year, maybe 90 or so. Anyway, Tom had to win four races in a row to win the championship, then goes right out and does it. Definitely a sportsman badass.

That's awesome! I thought i saw his old red Chevy blazer tow vehicle in Houston this year and was wondering what he was up to.
