<P> (9/1/08) - Tim Tindle completed a solid qualifying at the Mac Tools U.S. Nationals at O'Reilly Raceway Park with his best run of 6.030-seconds, 235.39 mph earning the fourth starting position for Sunday's eliminations. Through each of the three sessions held over the three days of qualifying, Tindle's GT 500E Mustang was the picture of consistency, recording elapsed times quick enough to qualify on every attempt.

Tindle said, "I can't say enough about this Tindle Racing Team. We have been fighting this hot rod all year long and we are finally getting a handle on things. It feels good to head into eliminations knowing you have a competitive hotrod."

"Our prayers go out to Steve Engel and family. It definitely makes racing tuff when a good friend like Steve is injured. We hope and pray that he will be ok."

Tindle Racing would like to specially thank TEI (Tindle-Enteprises Inc), MSD Ignition, Goodyear Tires, TORCO Racing Fuels, NGK Sparkplugs, Lucas Oil, and Huntsville Engine for their continuing support. For more information on Tindle Racing visit :: Tindle Racing ::
