Time To Rally For Drag Racing

Kyle Busch for winning in the minor leagues...missing the chase...um no.
Jimmie Johnson for winning the contrived chase for a 4th time...um no.
Tony, sorry...contrived countdown and another championship,no.
Ron Hornaday..in minor league after racing his way out of Cup...um, no.
I voted for Dario, coming back to the IRL and winning the title after futile effort in cup. Not to mention a great non-contrived points race.

500 or so people have viewed this link.... maybe 300 on Bobby's site in the forum....
a couple HUNDRED THOUSAND are voting for their NASCAR favorites. A couple of MILLION of 'average' fans will vote Jimmy Johnson because that's what they know.
I voted for "The Sarge" but, our votes won't make a dent.... we're still about a decade and a few million fans away from making any noticeable impact against the "BIG GUYS"....
...Unless it's a hot chic in a "Hottest Female Athlete" contest that is... Then Drag Racing fans go nuts...

voted for tony--- BUT--agree with Barry, before the countdown drag racing was a true competition now it joins the ranks of the other phony championships. Sad ... but I still love it!!!

Yeah, I guess me and a few others here that go to the INDY 500 every year. As rapidly as I have been losing interest in NHRA, and NASCAR by the way, you may not have to. I may leave on my own.
