[coverattach=1]Gainesville, FL. – Tim Tindle, driver of the Tindle Racing Ford GT 500 Promod Mustang, hopes to maintain momentum he and his team began building at the end of last year this weekend, March 12-15, at the Get Screened America Promod Challenge season opener, the ACDelco Gatornationals, Gainesville, FL.
Tim Tindle and his team struggled throughout the beginning of the 2008 season including three failures to qualify, one which came at the ACDelco Gatornationals a year ago. Tindle is determined to avenge his team’s failures from last season with better performances in 2009.
“We really started getting a handle on our Ford at the end of last year,” Tindle said. “We added Quain Stott (crew chief) to our team mid season and thing have turned around. I think we have everything where we need it to be co be competitive and to win some races.
“I hate loosing and I know our (crew) guys do too, so we are going to do what we have to do to get our car to win a lot more rounds this year.”
Tindle began his NHRA Promod career in 2007 and was chosen as the Rookie of the Year for the 2007 Season, winning the biggest payout that year - $25,000 Vegas Shootout.
