Norwalk, Ohio -- Todd Odom and Kebin "Wild Child" Kinsley are traveling from the scorching weather of Texas to the Northern Ohio region this weekend to compete at the 3rd Annual NHRA Summit Racing Equipment Nationals. This is the 12th Event for the 2009 Full Throttle Drag Racing Series.
Odom's last outing found him the recipient of his very first Wally and career best numbers at the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series events in Houston. In the final round of that race, he and his team put together a stellar 5.294 pass at almost 270 miles per hour. This came after he qualified in the number 3position.
"We're pretty excited to get back out to the track" Odom said. "I've been sharing seat time back and forth with Shayne Lawson this season and we both have a divisional win. We've never raced at Norwalk, but from what we've heard it's an outstanding facility with top notch fans plus some good ice Cream. We're really looking forward to competing there and taking a little break from the hot Texas sun."
Kinsley has also had a final round appearance in the 2009 racing season where he earned a runner up position at the end of race day in Dallas, Texas and is hungry for that first win for this season.
"We'd really like to thank Monroe Guest and Marvin Yoder for hanging in there with us this year as one of our associate sponsors" notes Kinsley. "We're just going to take it one pass at a time and hopefully earn our way up, not only in National Points, but also on Sunday to the Winner's Circle."
