[coverattach=1]Concord, N.C. -- With more than 200 years of documented history from the town of Concord, North Carolina, which includes the naming of the town that originated from the meaning of the word "harmony" back in 1796. This weekend at zMax Dragway in Concord, more history will be written during the running of the 2nd Annual NHRA Carlinas Nationals Full Throttle Drag Racing Series Event.

Tigerflow Racing would like to add their names into this historical writing and will have two teams competing, both within the Top Alcohol Dragster class.

Monroe Guest is fresh off of a runner up performance from the Division 5 Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Event in Topeka, Kansas a few weeks ago and is looking forward to piloting Tom Conway's A/Fuel Dragster again.

"Tom is one of the best tuner's out there" noted Guest "I'm really excited to get back in his car for this weekend. I was driving Todd Odom's dragster in Topeka and we made it to the final round. This weekend Todd's team and our team will be here in Concord while three of our other teams will be racing at the Division 4 race in Belle Rose, Louisiana this weekend.

"We have a lot of customers in the Charlotte area, so we will have a very large crowd around all weekend as we have supplied many tickets for them to come out and experience what we do first hand" continued Guest.

Odom has been the recipient of his first Wally earlier this year piloting his 2009 Monden A/Fuel Dragster and is really excited about the opportunity to be racing at zMax Dragway.

"We've all seen the pictures online of what the track looks like" said Odom, "but now we get to really see how breath taking this state of the art facility is. Our main goal is to qualify well and take it one lap at a time. Hopefully, the end result will be both Tigerflow Dragsters in the final on Sunday."

The NHRA Carolinas Nationals Full Throttle Event in Concord, kicks off Friday, September 18th, with two sessions of qualifying at 1:00 and 4:30 PM for the Alcohol Class. Qualifying resumes on Saturday, September 19th, at 1:30 followed by first round of eliminations at 5:15. Final Eliminations begin on Sunday, September 20th, 2009, at noon.
