[coverattach=1]Ennis, Tx -- Last weekend provided several successful events for Tigerflow Racing not only in Concord at the 2nd Annual NHRA Full Throttle Carolinas Nationals, but also in Belle Rose, Louisiana during the 6th of 7 South Central Division 4 Lucas Oil Drag Racing event. All of the teams racing last weekend are looking to carry their momentum for their biggest event of the year for Tigerflow Racing with the home town crowd and employees in the Metroplex, at the 24th Annual O'Reilly Auto Parts Super Start Batteries Fall Nationals.
In total, there will be three Tigerflow Top Alcohol Dragsters vying for the winner's circle on Sunday.
The first team, Tigerflow Co-Owner Monroe Guest, will be racing his 5th race of the season within the class. He will once again be piloting Tom Conway's A/Fuel Dragster. The team is coming off of a 2nd round appearance from last week after being qualified in the 3rd position moving into eliminations.
The second dragster is Todd Odom's A/Fueler with Shayne Lawson taking over driving duties this weekend. Last weekend in Concord, Odom made a stellar pole position pass running a 5.240 at 269.89 miles per hour only to fall short in round one with an early exit, however, they are looking to carry that momentum into this weekend's festivities.
The third dragster is most recent Division 4 Belle Rose Event Winner Brandon Lewis in his family owned A/Fuel Dragster. The team has reenlisted the help and guidance of Mr. Steve Boggs and will be another top contender this weekend as qualifying gets underway on Friday, September 25th, 2009.
Tommy Phillips will be racing at the Motorplex this weekend in both Super Comp and Super Gas as well. Phillips has been very consistent this year thus far and also took home the hardware last weekend in Belle Rose in Super Comp competition.
The 24th Annual NHRA Full Throttle O'Reilly Auto Parts Super Start Batteries Fall Nationals at the Texas Motorplex in Ennis, Texas kicks off Friday, September 25th, with two sessions of qualifying at 12:e0 and 3:45 PM for the Alcohol Class. Qualifying resumes on Saturday, September 26th, at 1:15 followed by first round of eliminations at 4:15. Final Eliminations begin on Sunday, September 27th, 2009, at 11:00 AM.
