I've always known that TM is good at Sky-high prices for concerts. But I just found out that 3 day tickets at Dallas are now $177! That's about $20-25 over last year! Looks like I may just go 2 days this year!

I don't know about gouging per se; but I just bought my Topeka ticket through them online. The base price was the same, but where they get you is with the handling, taxes and instant-print & delivery options. You can easity rack up another $25-40 bucks on top of the published price. I guess like anything else you pay for the convenience.

That's no convenience......it's just a plain ol' raping is what that is.

I REFUSE to ever buy tickets from Ticketmaster.

Well either Ticket Master just started handling Tickets for the Plex, or they just started charging a Handling fee. They were between $140-155(guesstimation) for the last 4-5 years!

I agree it is a rip off. But It's the instant gratification of it. No standing in line at the purchase window or at the will call window, and no waiting for the mail or FEDEX to arrive. 5 minutes online and your ticket is on your printer. When you get to the event, be sure to notice at all the folks standing in line, as you go right past them to the turnstiles. :D

Joe, I've told you before how to do it. Find a sportsman friend who will buy you a $75 crew member pass for all 3 days. They have to be entered that weekend but they can do it. Its $75 and they can leave it at will call. If I ever have to pay to get in, thats what I do. For the Houston and Dallas races, if you want to do it just let me know and I will get it done for you since I have alot of friends who race at both of those national events.

The worst is the Ticketfast Option, $2.50 to print out tickets using your own printer, paper and electricity. Guess what I have them send them to me regular mail. It can also be tougher to get rid of any extra you have as a lot of people are skeptical of buying them as the seller could have printed put 15 of the same seat and only the first person to enter the venue gets in.

I just purchased some tickets for Sunday at E-Town and it was over $70 per ticket after you factor in all of the surcharges. This is close to what you will pay for a Nascar race.
