Thx for starting late and cutting it short.

I was looking at my digital guide, and it looks like there is at least another one hour show on later today.

Argh.
This is typical ESPN Do you think they would do this on a nascar show. Just another example of why drag racing has a tough time growing. How can you sell to a sponsor, well you may get some tv time, but I can't be certain how much or when.

I wonder does arena football or whatever that was pay like NHRA does or is Glendoras ineptness showing one more time? In the meantime ESPN2 can kiss my a_s.:eek::mad::mad:

yea womens b-ball is on before eliminations sunday,so will be late tomorrow. They should make up the 15 min that we lost today on tnights show.

Why did they even bother. I don't usually bash ESPN..but that was out of line.

It was only going to be a 1/2 hr show anyway..but to be late for arena football..then don't go the allotted time because of horse racing?

Shouldn't have even scheduled it.

they were (are) a little late for the 7:00PM PDT show too...

it was pretty depressing tuning in at 7:00 and hearing Marty Reid's voice...then realising it was still the Indy car race :( it's making PP that much harder to listen to

I hear ya,We miss ya Marty!

Awesome deal,we got screwed on 2 out 2 programs so far this weekend, well lets just make it 3 in a row. We sure cant have women b-ball start late, god for bid. ESPN SUX.

I didnt realize there was an early show till too late. But I was really pissed at the nite show that all there was for P/SB was 10 seconds of congratulations to Matt Smith in small screeen-without showing even 1 run-or results!

Well I'll fix em! From now on I don't watch ESPN2 for qualifying or racing! And I won't use my computer anymore. From now on I'll just wait three weeks for my National Dragster. That'll fix em. Check that! I'm canceling National Dragster. I'll wait 3 months for raceday coverage to appear in Hot Rod Magazine. Yeah, that's what I'll do. They won't have me to kick around anymore.

Bob, I have 2 tickets to the 2007 Awards show if you want them!

I find this thread funny. I know I'm gonna sound like an ass but here goes. I seem to recall a few weeks ago a number of people complaning about the length of the broadcasts. In case everyone forgot, the b1tch was that the shows were too long. As I said at the time, keep it up and ESPN and NHRA will figure out that screwing us on our TV times really doesn't bother people. A 12 minute show, is that short enough?

Dave

Lol the shows arent on long enough. If they were on all day like pay per view and started on time,i would subscibe in a heartbeat over espn2.

It is a sad day for all Drag Racing fans, when arena football overrides NHRA Drag Racing. We all know if the tables we're turned, the opposite would have happened. I wonder who negotiates that or what has to happen so we can see the flipside.

That's an interesting question. I wonder if Arena Football has to pay to have their show broadcast?
