The TORCO commercials on ESPN 2 ?

I found it strange to see all the old sponsored teams promoted and then to see a skull shine commercial with JR Todd

Seemed a little akward to me

I thought that was weird too. The only thing I can think of is that they purchased the ad time well in advance so they might as well run them.

That was my guess as well since it was a Torco sponsored race. I'm sure the event sponsorship and ad's were all paid in advance. It was weird though for sure.

Must not have been enough money to make a couple new commercials in the last six months. I'd be interested to know what some of these drivers and teams thought of it.
