The new PM record is 5.99! (1 Viewer)

there is no rule change to make "immediate" gains in the NOS camp. They are a tenth behind right now. Most can't meet min weight as it is. Unlimited cubes is an option, but a undeveloped, expensive, unproven option.

As for slowing the blower cars down, the kneejerk is always overdrive reduction, but is usually overcome fairly quickly. Other options are elimination of the 2-step, injector hat area reduction, gear ratio changes, among others.

Having said all that, I think it may be too late for alot of NOS guys...

This pretty much sums up the answer I get from every nitrous racer / crewman that I've posed the question to. The current situation is kind of making Kenny look like a genius with his ADRL idea, his timing was certainly good!

It's going to be really interesting to see what happens with the class next year; just between the IHRA, NHRA, and ADRL we're going to see some fireworks before it's all said and done. A lot of people are quick to poo-poo the 1/8 mile trip but I can definitively say that watching Lynam run a 3.8X on 3 wheels is NOT boring!
