have read a little on this new plane - a few different models will be available
to compete against existing airbus models......designed to replace an
older boeing model (757 or 767, can't remember).

Heard on the news this morning that Boeing bought a South Carolina plant for $585 million to further the development and improving of all it's aircraft.

There's already artist renderings of that thing in BBJ (Boeing Business Jet)configuration. Looks like a gosh darn flying apartment complex. Who's the launch customer - or, is there one? I was lucky enough to be pretty substantially involved in the launch of the B717 with AirTran Airways. I imagine they'll go all-out to launch the 787
