I don't know what some people are so up in arms about. Nascar drivers get out of their cars and fight like little schoolyard kids (they never connect on their "punches";)) after someone brushes them/puts them in the wall, or whatever happens in Nascar races. This is played over and over again on SportsCenter and Speed and these guys' t-shirt and die cast sales SKYROCKET after that. Their popularity and interviewability (is that even a word??) seemingly climbs the charts when these things happen. More importantly, some of you guys act surprised that Angelle reacted like that. Why? We've been watching her race for how many years now? How exactly did you expect her to react? After the season of struggles she's had, a $15 (or whatever it costs) sensor costing me the race would send me into orbit, too!

Ill try one last time...(its like talking to a wall). Showing emotion is great , give me all you got. She wasnt showing emotion , she was acting like a borderline spaz case. You`d think she was witnessing/involved in a truly tragic event. And if you say not being able to compete in a final round meets your definition as a tragic circumstance, you have lead a pretty "cushy" , sheltered life. She is what she is, I couldnt care less, its when people start saying this a normal behavior that is OK to be displayed in front of millions of people, yeah, that scares me.
Jeez Steve..you just keep topping yourself.

Did your Mom love you? There really has to be a root cause for you to see it so much differently than everybody else. You sound so bitter. :)

Yea, and I doubt he cried whenever he was spanked. Show of emotion, you know.

Let's just say Angelle is very passionate about what she does. Part of getting amped up for any race is an emotional state. I think that's why racers, ball players and anyone else involved in sports (Olympic metalists) show a lot of emotion whether they win or lose. You have to bring it on to rise to that top level of performance.

It's not just that moment on the time line like we saw with Angelle. It's that a competitive spirit is a way of life for people like her. Part of the fabric of her very being, accepting no less than the best in order to win.

The opposite of what she did could have been for her to get off the bike, push it over to the ground, walk away, then turn and tell her guys to give her a call once they get it right while shaking her head back and forth.

Online dictionary: "tantrum", refers to "temper tantrum" which is defined as "a loss of mental balance or composure, especially by an outburst of anger or irritation, also call tantrum."

Bitter? No way. Thats emotion.
And Moms fine, thanks for asking.
Time to move on to something more positive.
We can continue this the next time we witness a Angelle "emotion" (next race).

Yeah...they bazoomba-jacked the 'Mater party plane. Maybe Suzie brings out the Ding-Ding express, and all of us equipped with the ding-dings hijack that!:D:D:D

Not a chance!!! We at Bazumba Airlines and the Ding-Ding Express have state of the art security! :p

Yeah...the art of deception............

Security: OK, male 'Mater, look right here at my bazoombas..

Mater: Allllllright!!!!!

Security: (Swift kick to the ding-ding) Off you go!!!

Temper tantrum = Danica

Hurt & frustration/disappointment = Angelle

Exactly.

And I'm not sure most of us would be pulling for certain drivers and teams if they weren't passionate about what they do. Frankly it's the passion and emotion of the Angelle's and John Force's that add some flavor to this sport. God forbid the day that drag racers become nothing more than cardboard corporate mouthpieces like are found in NASCAR.

This Angelle bashing is just getting stupid. I cannot believe how emotional some people seem to get when they are b*tching about Angelle's emotions. Do any of you that get your rocks off bashing her even know her? Many people don't have any idea of all the crap she has had to endure in her life. Anybody ever have their spouse put a loaded gun to their head? Anybody put most of their money into a business that began to fail? I could go on with more but I won't. Is it possible that Angelle gets so emotional over Drag Racing because this is her only form of release from all of the crap in her life? What is the big deal about showing emotion? You guys get on her because she crys when she wins, she crys when she looses, she crys etc. BIG DEAL!!! Was it wrong when Billy Meyer was in tears in 1982 when he beat Don Prudhomme in the semi-finals at Indy? Was it wrong when John Force cried when he won the Bud Shootout in 1987? How about when Shirley's crew was in tears after she made her last run? How about when Don Garlits was in tears when he finally made a 4 second run at over 300 MPH? Do you get my point or do you need more examples? Hey, if you don't like Angelle, great. You are entitled to your opinion. But don't dislike somebody just because they cry. Grow up for Christ's sake.
