Greg shouldnt have ever said it b/c he should have known all of yall would be making a big deal outta of it. You know what though, he was right. He didnt say Dave only wins b/c of luck, he said Dave is lucky that NHRA's fake points system started this year, otherwise he wouldnt be leading the pts. I hate this countdown crap and I dont blame the drivers for being pissed. If anyone but Hot Rod, Greg, and Matt Smith win the championship, then its going to suck.

killer post justin! my champions for 07 are - rod fuller- ron capps - and greg anderson PERIOD!!!!!!! people turn words around because they are greg anderson haters! personally im getting sick of dave connelly now, hes a cocky young dude. no one can deny it. and i think he will win the championship- but it will be a fake championship. just add up the points at the end of the year. pre and post countdown. greg will have more.

This is the deal, GA shouldn't have said anything until AFTER it's over with,then he could have said anything he wants about it. He could very well still win it and it wouldn't surprise me one bit. I have two favorite college teams and two favorite P/S racers and I feel the same about both. My team and who ever is playing Alabama and who ever is racing GA.

Everyone knew how the championship was going to work before the start of the year. Anyone ever think that Connolly's team's goal for the first part of the year was just to make sure they made it into the countdown? Could be they were setting themselves up for this.

If there was no countdown the first part of the year could have looked much different than it did. Though we will never know because these are the rules everyone has to play with.
