( NORWALK , OHIO Dec. 17, 2007) IHRA and the Knoll Gas Nitro Jam have grown in popularity over the last few years. Now the sanctioning body’s reach will be as broad as ever.

From Northern Europe to the Philippines … Algeria to Uzbekistan the Knoll Gas Nitro Jam is receiving more worldwide exposure than ever before. IHRA’s television program, which is broadcast on SPEED across North America , will be seen on television in almost 50 countries all over the world.

“We’re very excited to bring Nitro Jam to fans across the globe,” Michael Prince, Vice President for Live Nation-Motor Sports who is spearheading this project, said of the worldwide television exposure. “The increased exposure for racers and sponsors in the Knoll Gas Nitro Jam is a valuable added bonus. This is also a great opportunity to increase the awareness of IHRA and the Knoll Gas Nitro Jam on many, many levels.”

IHRA President Aaron Polburn is excited about the increased international exposure.

“This is an amazing deal and I really tip my cap to Michael Prince for putting this together,” IHRA president Aaron Polburn said. “We have great racers, great personalities with great stories to tell. I look forward to seeing the response to our brand of drag racing from all over the world. With our commitment to drag racing in the United States and Canada, also in Aruba where we have a member track and Puerto Rico, you really realize how ‘international’ the International Hot Rod Association actually is.”
