TASCA opens up (2 Viewers)

Alot of ppl have been complaining about this but I think it's good for the sport. I do wonder who at Force Racing is handling the negotiations for the contracts?

I'm still confused about the keeping the family together comment. They were together at JFR. What am I missing?
I asked the same thing in another thread and it’s believed that Thomas was maybe getting lured away by other teams. The three of them wanted to stay together and maybe Force couldn’t afford to keep all of them. There’s a lot of “maybes” in there because it’s all speculation….maybe

My guess is with limited sponsorships some financial cuts probably needed to be made to keep everything running. If it was strictly money I think Thomas could have stayed and kept things as is, I am sure he is well compensated. Tasca seen it as an opportunity and jumped on it.
Personally with all the changes I do not see a championship in the near future for the Procks.

I would prefer Bob Tasca as the driver, he bleeds Ford blue and is a riot in confrontational interviews.
A favorite driver that will be missed...

What I was told was that Thomas Prock was being offered opportunities elsewhere as co-crew chief. That when the Prock family heard that Alexis may be joining JFR (well before Indy) they wanted Thomas to tune. JFR already knew what Zippy was capable of and that's why the Procks were told no. Allegedly the Procks were upset, since Tasca was one of the teams wanting Thomas he went to Cam Tasca and said something like "It's a family package all or none". When BT3 heard this from Cam he immediately picked up on the opportunity to deliver FORD the promise he made, that being "if you return to drag racing I will give you a championship". The wheels were set in motion and the legal paperwork was signed. Keep in mind it won't be easy to three peat at FJR Jimmy and Thomas had access to FAM (Force American Made) as such any part he wanted modified or made from scratch he could have done, at Tasca he has to deal with AJPE and other suppliers, changes or new parts will take a lot longer.

In the CP interview Bob said he was investing in doing a lot of things in house, but this is not going to happen overnight.

Ahh.. You see…..Something else I haven’t seen brought up anywhere…. By anybody. The general manager of the JFR Indy shop, and Force American Made, also left and is now with Tasca. He’s another important part of the Prock family that kinda stays out of the limelight so to speak.

Also, Tasca didn’t just buy any shop when he moved out of the DSR building last year, he bought the Morgan Lucas Racing chassis/fab shop.
