TAD at the Division 2 Race in Gainesville

I was browsing the results from last weekends LODRS event in Gainesville. 7 of the top 8 cars in Top Alcohol Dragster, which included 5 of last years top 10 finishers, qualified in the 5.20's. A great opportunity for the racers to get some runs in before the Gatornationals. Looks like another exciting year for this under recognized class. I have fond memories of the Indy qualifying last year. Come on Spring!

Ray Martin was the star at Gainesville. Steps into John Bojec's Speed City TAFC and wins first time out. Oh by the way, at the Phoenix regional the week prior, he went to the final in his own Top Sportsman car and to the final in a borrowed Super Stock car. So that is 3 finals in 2 weeks in 3 radically different classes with 1 win. Amazing.
