INDIANAPOLIS - Daily race schedule for the 68th annual Dodge Power Brokers Performance U.S. Nationals at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park:
We are in our second rain delay for Sunday. The first was an hour plus for on and off sprinkles that didn't get the track too wet.
Five pair of Top Fuel Dragsters were run before the delay.
About 6:30 PM, the call went out to start the engines, but just one more pair was run before heavier showers started and the rest of the field was sent back to their trailers.
At 7:00PM, NHRA cancelled the balance of today activities, as the heavy rain continues to come down. The field is now set in Top Fuel.
The balance of the planned eliminations for today will start tomorrow with Top Fuel Round One Eliminations at 10:00 AM.
