[coverattach=1]RICHMOND, Va. (July 28, 2009) - Quain Stott is never at a loss for someone to blame when a mistake happens. His list is just short - there's only one name on it - his.

Stott took his LeeBoy Equipment Pro Extreme Corvette to its fourth semi-final finish in the past seven ADRL races. "The car was great all weekend," Stott explained. "It was just driver error - that's all I can say. I poked it into second gear at 8,200 RPMs - just driver error." Stott believes the short shift cost him at least .050 seconds of elapsed time - in a race that was decided by .030 seconds.

When questioned about legal devices that could be used to assist him with racing - the old school North Carolina driver is quick to respond. "I call them 'rookie switches'," Stott laughed. "I don't use them. If you're going to drive the car - then drive it. If it gets to the point where I need those switches I'll just get a joystick and race from the starting line."

Stott jokes with teammates about wishing he could find something to blame them for when he looses a round. "Those guys just don't make mistakes when it comes to doing maintenance between rounds."

Despite being aggravated with himself, Stott still enjoys the second place position in the quest towards the ADRL Battle of the Belts. He also continues to keep his league leading career eliminations winning percentage of .738.
