Great story. Densham and his wife Joanne are some of the most down to earth people you could ever meet. Surfers Paradise Raceway was a 5 minute drive to the beach. Nowadays, it's a prime piece of land filled with million dollar houses. Never realised there was 400 active funny cars across the US back then - what a time to be a race fan!
