Indy is still the big show for Stock(162 entries for 128 spots) and Super Stock(138 entries for 128 spots) racers. The only National event where you can run all out without getting penalize for going too fast.Am I reading this right? 162 Stockers including Erica Enders and Drew Skilman at Indy??
and #1Q BJ Graham takes class in U/SA......jason takes the trophy in C/SA......bill skillman beats bo butner in F/SA; bo barely red.
hard to explain how exciting class is. if you look at drc from today some great drivers won, and some didn't. that's how it always goes.....and see what class someone runs in.....one guy running b/sa this weekend, was a/sa two weeks ago.....check and see who's there, then figure your class. great stuff.....enders lost C1 today....pritchett runs -1.701 under in fs/xx for C1 win. loses in C2.
I believe BJ Graham has a 302 under the hood with a small 2 barrel carburetor. What kind of engine does BJ run in her Mustang? Is it a V-6? Boy that class has like 3 cars in the top 8 in qualifying. Also saw a photo of a guy in W/Stock, Ford Pinto wagon w/ 4 banger & a 4 speed stick. I had a 1971 Pinto coupe, so I gotta route for the Pintos. heh

I'm assuming that's Mike's old Mustang, or did she trade in the Maverick for something new? Thanks Bob. Pretty impressive to run low 13's with a 2 bbl carb.
From what I've read, the entire drive train was transferred from the Maverick to the Mustang. The 302, depending on what car it is in, has a pretty low horsepower rating that makes the class index pretty soft. Not trying to take away anything about the work involved in making the car run low 13's, but a Chevy 283, again depending on the car it is in, is rated 37 horsepower HIGHER than the Ford 302.I'm assuming that's Mike's old Mustang, or did she trade in the Maverick for something new?
couple of e/sa's going heads up.....that was a great final. And My friend Larry Gilley From Hilmar Ca, won the whole enchilada, Congrats, Larry!!!
