I was aware of Canyon Raceway not to far from there, but don't remember seeing a Dirt track there when I went there in the 90's! That was the race Darrel Hitchman flipped his A/Fueler!

The one common thread I see in both tracks is. The facilities are built on leased land. When it all boils down the land owner has the final say so.
