So the "Ace" is in the booth.....

In the past he might have decked him. Ace was a bad ass!

That was just a real clueless, classless and ignorant statement on Page's part. I sincerely believe Page didn't even realize the implication of what he said. Wow.

Paul Page is just not in tune enough with the sport to be where he is. He's had what.............three years? To get a handle on it. And hasn't yet. And likely never will. He was good at Indy cars. Send him back to them.

Who do you think this voice belongs to ? Circa 1990

Amazing. It's got to be old age.

Great video. Oh how I miss Diamond P Sports American Sports Cavalcade.

American Sports Cavalcade - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"This show was originally hosted by country singer Ed Bruce, who eventually left Cavalcade to host another TNN Show named Truckin' USA. Ed never really did a lot in the form of commentating while on ASC. He usually left the commentating up to Steve Evans and Brock Yates. Throughout the years, ASC would use other announcers as well, including Paul Page, Gary Gerould, Ralph Sheheen, and "Big Daddy" Don Garlits for NHRA telecasts." :D
