So ... all it takes is a little rain delay....

now there's the cleanup from Courtney's incident with the wall.....machinery replacing the concrete barriers....

I think Fox did a great job, they ran 1 hour past their time, have to go to fs2 to watch the finals though

Fox TV gave an extra hour of network time to finish the race. They certainly didn't have to. And now we're in a rain delay. Do you expect them to stay live all night on the main network with no racing? Drag racing fans are the biggest whiners on the planet.

NASCAR would get moved too. I wonder how track drying is going. The whole place was completely soaked. It took what, 90 mins earlier today? Could be a long night.

Race called anyways due to rain, Nitro finals down the road in Brainerd and Indy for Pro Stock.

You have to give the NHRA and FOX credit for running over and sticking with the broadcast. Broadcast TV is usually high $$$ on a Sunday night and they had every intention of running the race on FS2. I was watching until they starting showing a re-run of the Jegs All Stars. Glad to see a TV partner committed to showing the event.

I enjoyed the coverage today, didnt breeze thru the rounds, wish they could do that all the time, reminded me of espn. First rd took hr and 15 min on espn. Didnt rush thru it!

A curiosity question here, why can't the finals be raced tomorrow so we can get this event over with? Brainerd isn't for two weeks so it's not like the finalists will be held up from the next event. Also, why does Pro Stock have to wait clear until Indy?

I bet ESPN wouldn't have let it rain in Seattle :-) :-) :-)
But seriously, you are right. There's more whining here than at a daycare center that's out of fruit snacks.
