So ... all it takes is a little rain delay....

A curiosity question here, why can't the finals be raced tomorrow so we can get this event over with? Brainerd isn't for two weeks so it's not like the finalists will be held up from the next event. Also, why does Pro Stock have to wait clear until Indy?

Not sure how accurate it is but a couple people affiliated with some pro teams told me there is a big fine if they were to run on Monday due to a set agreement between the track with the many residents that live near the track. No way NHRA is going to pay a giant fine to run three pairs. Plus as others mentioned, the weather today isn't all that great.

I've heard Seattle's curfew rules are just as bad if not worse than Pomona, with the size of the fine almost 5 times what I remember hearing Pomona's was a few years ago.

 Holy Extortion Batman!!! Well, that would be about right then since I thought I remembered hearing that we cost NHRA $20,000 at Pomona to finish a rained out Friday/Saturday under the lights Saturday night. Noise curfews... How about don't move near the drag strip?!?

Plus, let's be honest with ourselves guys. How much more money would the involved teams had to have spent to stay another night in terms of food and lodging, vs "let's just hit the road, and wrap this up during qualifying in 2 weeks." (or 4)

Not just the teams, but all the travelling NHRA staff as well.
