2 pictures you are likely to never see again. Got up to 6 inches today, and they are expeting up to 6 more tonight ... in VEGAS. The airport does not have de-icing equipment so all traffic is grounded.

Glad I am working in Warner Robins GA this week.

Hope the snow in Vegas clears up by this weekend and the airport gets back to normal... A bunch of folks will be trying to leave possibly snow-ladden TUCSON for the Wildcat's bowl game this weekend!!!

(There's just SO many things wrong in that last statement...:D)

Make sure they get to the bowl game in time to see David Hasselhoff sing the national anthem.

Winter Storm warning right down to the city limits of LA too.
Well after all Winter starts next week !

MAJOR FOG IN HOUSTON !

From the video you posted.......

Kid - "dad can we play outside for a little while?"
Dad - "No, it's too cold."

That snow was very wet looking, it couldn't have been THAT cold. High 20's - low 30's would be my guess.

Actually, that's too WARM to play in the snow, it needs to be colder so you stay dry. ;)

In Vegas ... anything below 60 and we break out the Goretex. High 20s/Low 30s is TOO COLD. That's why we live in the desert ... so we don't have to put up with that crap.

Luckily for me, I was traveling for my job (Macon/Warner Robins GA) and it was 75-80 degrees there all week ... so I missed all the "fun" in Vegas.

Just got back Weds. from a conference in Hollywood, FL - temp mid 80's. Got to swim in the ocean. The temp on the drive home to mid Minnesota was -5, and I'll be playing outdoor hockey this weekend (Sunday's high expected to be 0). Slightly different weather in those two places - but I'd take the cold over the heat anytime. You can always put on more clothes, but you can only take so many off.
