does anyone know if this is the smallest pro stock field ever. wow ! when was the last time all u had to do was show up and be pretty much guaranteed a spot in the field.
I'm surprised that Deceglie and the Mountain View tire gang weren't in Seattle, they are a west coast team. Hopefully they make Sears Point next week, and maybe Panella can bring his new car out and play.
Assuming the cost of fielding a car is the main factor, Pro Stock seems like there's been declining numbers for some time. I remember my first Indy in '96 had almost 60 cars. Obviously, that's Indy but it seemed like you could always count on 25-30 PS cars at a National event 5-10 years ago.
