Phil Burgess wrote a great article over at NHRA.com in his Inside Dragster column about Simon Menzies. I enjoyed it because I remember when he was teamed up with Dale Armstrong on that AA/A that won Pro Comp at Indy, that was one of my favorite eras in drag racing. Sounds like Torrence, CA was a great place to live in the 70's! Menzies was classy enough to make sure Phil mentioned Billy Williams in the article, who unfortunately is still in a coma.
