I have never owned or even handled a gun, but that doesn't look very comfortable to hold just by looking at it!

Go find one and try it. Fits most size hands very well for a pocket rocket. They are purpose built and are very concealable. A LOT of LEO's carry them as a back-up and you'd never know it.

I bought a SIG P220 Nitron (45 ACP) after an encounter at a rest stop near Deming, New Mexico, on my way back from Houston a few years ago. I think they thought my rig was a food truck. All I had to defend myself was packages of Oreo Cookies and bottled water, and I was throwing them out the window while revving my engine up trying to get enough air for the brakes to release. They went after the stuff I was throwing and I was able to get out in one piece. A year later I was in the small rest stop on the west side of highway 97 just south of the CA/Oregon border snoozing one night. I woke up to a bunch of guys going through the rigs parked there trying to break in the trailers. The other truckers took great care of them. LOL.

Sig's are pricey but very high quality. When you shove a magazine into a Ruger it feels like you shut the bathroom door. When you shove a magazine into a Sig it feels like you shut the door to a Mercedes Benz S Class.

I need to get to a shooting range. That would be a lot of fun. Been a long time since I shot a gun (over 25 years) and the last time I did, I had a lot of fun.

I agree. I used to have a Ruger full sized 9mm ... HATED that gun. I currently have a HK P2000 (compact .40), and when you slide that clip in, it fits so perfectly and clicks in so perfectly, you would think that was the only clip in the world that would fit that gun. The SIGs that I have owned are not far off. My dad uses the P232 SIG as his carry weapon (compact .380) and he loves it. Just as with everything in life, you get what you pay for. Some guns cost more than others for a reason.

Hickok 45 on the P238 Sig. About the same size as a Ruger LCP:

Your daughter might like this one. Ruger LCP .380 with pink frame. Works great with Horniday Critical Defense hollow points. Mine is black and is my EDC (or bug), with a Desantis Nemis pocket holster. For those days when a Springfield XDS 45 or the smaller 9mm (LC9S) are just too big.

My neighbor gal a Ruger like this {not pink though} & she likes it. I think she has no problems handling it. She was a turret gunner on a Humvee in Iraq.

Just throwing this out. It is possible Sig Sauer was not a paying sponsor on Morgan's car. They are an important new customer for Lucas. Forest was attending the race. There was wining and dining with Sig folks. After Morgan went out in round one the signage moved to the Lucas car for round two. It looks to me like the "sponsorship" may be Forest establishing relationships with a new customer and showing appreciation for their business. Just my opinion.
It's right there on the "mud flap".
