Brittany went 340 again at St. Louis and she is in 5th? That car must be really slow at the start, then a rocket booster kicks in at half track. That's all I can figure.

Well…. She had the 2nd best 60’ of that round with an .841. The only car better was Steve Torrence just .001 better with an .840. Clay Millican showed a .806, but I believe that to be a bogus number that might have even affected the entire run.

That run was quick of the session in round 1, she made it about 100ft in the night session which is why she is 5th.

.841 is a good but not a great 60, not something you'd expect from a 340mph car. Her incrementals of course indicate a relatively soft 1st-half tune and a killer back half. We've all seen Brittany lose a lot of races due to blowing the tires off about 350-400 feet when the clutch goes 1-1 so I'm sure Grubnic proceeds with caution through that area. We've also seen that car run 3.64 this year in ideal conditions so it's not like the car isn't capable when all the planets are in alignment.

It must be warmer in Saint Louie today - Q3 included a lot of slip 'n slide.
