Shawn Langdon's New Team Hauler

Maybe they aren't marketing to you and me......like so many of the other sponsors. You buy any good oil field equipment lately (C&J, Harlow Sammons)? Me neither.

Maybe just maybe they are thinking one of racing business owners wants to migrate over to their credit card processing.

Or maybe they just need some tax writeoffs and the company owners want to hang with Connie and his guys.

Yeah you restated my point...I'd like to see some data instead of the "maybe" in there...

I was wondering if data shows a shifting demographic, or if this is a niche marketing partner.

look at what happens on almost all flights now.....pre-take off instructions.....'stewardesses carry no cash and we
only accept debit and credit cards for food and beverages'.......the 'redbox' movie rental kiosks. used to be entire store/bldg.,
now just an automated kiosk with a card swipe.

I just got an E mail from NHRA with an offer to switch our company CC machines to a deal they are pitching. Wasn't Global per say but I would imagine it has something to do with them.
Got that too. Company was "Chosen Payments."

I think a lot of deals these days are more about B2B than just brand awareness and impressions.
More than likely correct. I was just listening to an interview with Andrew Waite, the author of "The Great Money Hunt" book on seeking motorsports sponsorship, and that's part of his strategy - approach the prospective sponsor as a B2B proposition.

Although regarding impressions, you can't discount the number of them made away from the racetrack with as many miles as these teams travel in a year!

Guys, it is a bunch of VERY rich companys wanting to play in the sandbox. A few million to them is like a few dollars to me and you. Look at Tim Wilkersons sponsor, I asked Tim one day in Columbus who is LRS and he told me it was an old friend from school and he liked Tim and was willing to pay for him to race in return for some advertising. Good friend.

Another perfect example is Bob Vandergriff and Josh Comstock (C&J). Very good friends and when Josh passed, The company pulled the sponsorship $$.
