I thought by now we would have heard something about the team closing shop, or at least selling equipment while it's still current. Has anybody out there heard anything? I know Alan said that was it if there was not any funding, but nothings been confirmed since Indy.

I suspect when Spencer "left" DSR the money behind the car left with him since it came with him.

Pretty Sure Massey and Snow-Blower had nothing to do with it. Plus, RED FUEL is a Schumacher company....at this the car would be in the Top Ten and the Count Down with a solid team behind it. But that is just me from outside of the inner circle.

Your right it was at Indy but I'm not sure how lmuch Schumacher will fund out of his pocket. Prior to Indy DSRs portion was very small. However, I'm told Khalid alBalooshi came with a handful of cash so perhaps it will be out all year.

end of year points race that will boost attendance, increase tv ratings, and i'm sure draw
in additional 'end of season' sponsors for the racers as their exposure to the public will
be SO great, how could they possibly pass on an opportunity to market with one of nhra's
elite professional teams!?
