Section 4.4.B of the NASCAR Member Code of Conduct
outlines severe infractions that can result in significant penalties, including fines, point deductions, and suspensions. These are actions that are considered more egregious than minor incidents and are treated with a higher degree of severity by NASCAR.
According to the 2024 Rule Book, infractions under Section 4.4.B that could lead to a loss of 25–50 driver and/or team owner points, a $50,000–$100,000 fine, and/or a suspension include:

- Reckless driving: Wrecking or spinning another vehicle, regardless of whether that vehicle is removed from competition as a result.
- Safety compromise: Any action that compromises the safety of an event or poses a dangerous risk to competitors, officials, or spectators.
I'm reading where Gray was rumored to have been suspended for trying to shove his way from the grandstands to the track to celebrate the victory with Taylor and may have gotten into an altercation with guards who stopped him. But as the Magic 8-ball says, "Ask again later". This hasn't been confirmed.
