<P> (9-30-08)Elma, NY – Three weekends in a row! Three separate races with three separate prizes and three separate sets of rules! Starting with what looks to be the biggest ¼ Pro Mod race in history, the sixth annual Shakedown at E-Town.

The Shakedown is scheduled for October 4-5, 2008 at the world famous Old Bridge Township Raceway Park facility just outside of New York City in Englishtown, New Jersey. This year's event, will for the first time, be a 2-day action packed door slammer war. Mel Bush Motorsports team driver, Tommy D'Aprile, will shoe the fan favorite 62 Bel Air up against the worlds best Pro Outlaw Blower racers with a chance to win over $20,000.00 dollars.

"We have a tough row to hoe coming up. With three races in three weeks under three different sets of rules; trying to change something to get an advantage is tempting but Mike and the Jan-Cen guys have an IHRA legal package that can run with anyone no matter the rules. I'm hoping we'll get some good air for once this season and show everyone what I know we have," said D'Aprile.

Following the Shakedown the team will return to Elma, NY and Mike Janis' Jan-Cen shop and prepare for D'Aprile's first run with the NHRA Jeg's Pro Mod series. After another return trip to Jan-Cen it will be off to Rockingham to end the 2008 IHRA season. D'Aprile currently sits fourth in IHRA points and is hoping for a top three finish to his first year with Mel and Johanne Bush's Mel Bush Motorsports.
